Digital Learning Practice

Four offers. Services first. Platform later, if ever

Differentiation is not “we use spaced repetition”. Others already sell that. Digital Learning Practice differentiates on three things:

  1. Evidence-led conversion of training you already have into practice that looks like the job
  2. Workflow integration with manager observation — not only reminders
  3. Outcome evaluation that separates retention, transfer, behaviour, and business results

No end quizzes as the finish line. No certificates as proof.

Offer A — Practice Evidence Audit

Paid discovery · typical buyer: digital lead, L&D, service manager, or business sponsor

What you get

  • One role, one costly observable behaviour
  • A map from that behaviour to a small set of practice objectives
  • A retention horizon (when people still need to be able to do this)
  • A baseline plan and a measurement plan
  • A plain recommendation: stop, fix the teaching first, or go to a Sprint / Pilot

What you do not get

  • A content library
  • A platform licence
  • A promise that the behaviour will change

Run this when the team check shows a floor problem, or when you already spent on a day / six weeks and cannot see lasting change.

Pricing hypothesis: see Pricing — fixed fee for one role and one capability.

Offer B — Workshop-to-Practice Sprint

Convert existing teaching into a practice journey

What you get

  • Existing course or day converted into a 6–12 week practice sequence
  • Short retrieval and application tasks (minutes, not hours)
  • Feedback after a committed answer
  • Interleaved scenarios so people practise choosing which rule applies
  • Manager observation rubric for the same behaviour
  • A delayed check date agreed before launch

What you do not get

  • A rewrite of your entire curriculum
  • LMS replacement
  • Automated employment decisions from practice data

Natural next step after One day, one team (£1,800) or after AI at work, six weeks (£3,600) when the contact teaching is done and you need the skill to hold.

Model: preserve total teaching time where you can; break massed events into launch + spaced practice. That is a research model, not a guarantee for your numbers. Pricing hypothesis: fixed conversion fee for one behaviour / one cohort.

Offer C — Digital Learning Practice Pilot

Proof before any wider roll-out

What you get

  • Everything in the Sprint, operated for one cohort
  • Baseline before practice
  • Spaced retrieval practice over 6–12 weeks
  • Manager observations on a small rubric
  • Delayed retention and transfer check
  • Optional matched or controlled comparison where the organisation can support it (practice vs usual follow-up; ideally also vs passive reminders)
  • A written readout: what moved, what did not, cost per improved learner or behaviour, and a stop / revise / scale recommendation

Primary use case: reinforce one costly, observable capability after formal training.

Good first behaviours for HTBD buyers

  • Judging a suspicious message (tell a real message from a fake one)
  • Deciding what is safe to put into an AI tool
  • Checking an AI answer before it goes to a tenant, resident, or customer

Pricing hypothesis: fixed implementation fee + per-cohort fee (not per-seat until usage is known).

Offer D — optional add-ons

Manager Observation Kit

  • Behaviour rubric with anchors (observed / not observed / not applicable)
  • Weekly coaching cue for line managers
  • Team-level view — not a surveillance feed of every answer

Managed Practice

  • Ongoing authoring and campaign operation for lean L&D teams
  • Quarterly optimisation against the agreed measures
  • Recurring services revenue; still teaching-led, not a black-box SaaS pitch

Evidence Lab (by request)

  • Separate fixed fee for study design and impact analysis
  • Kept separate so evaluation stays credible
  • For organisations that need a defensible causal claim, not a vanity dashboard

Offer stack (plain)

Team check (free) → One day / Six weeks (teaching) → Practice Evidence Audit → Workshop-to-Practice Sprint → Digital Learning Practice Pilot → Manager Kit / Managed Practice / Evidence Lab.

You can enter at Audit or Sprint if teaching already happened elsewhere. You do not have to buy a platform to start.
