For organisations
Employers, councils, housing associations and charities pay for team programmes. That is what funds the free lessons. Individuals never pay for anything on this site.
The problem, with its numbers attached
35% of UK businesses with ten or more employees now use at least one AI technology. 11% report that more than half their workforce has received AI training. Most people using these tools at work were shown nothing. ONS, 20 July 2026, June 2026 data.
Among employers, the main barrier to AI training is being unsure what training is relevant for the business, then lack of time, then cost. DSIT and DCMS employer survey — note the fieldwork ran spring 2024, so treat it as two years old.
What I do
| What | Who it is for | Price |
|---|---|---|
| A day with a team | One team, in a room, on their own work | £1,800 fixed |
| A six-week programme | The same buyers, where a day is not enough | £3,600 fixed |
| Advisory | Organisations deciding what to do about AI | Day rate, set at craigstanley.work |
These two prices are hypotheses. There is no citable UK benchmark day rate for this market, so I am not going to pretend there is. If they are wrong I would rather find out in the first three conversations than defend them.
What I do not do
- I do not teach AI specialists or AI experts. I teach general users and implementers. The scope, in the research's own terms.
- I do not build or fine-tune models.
- I do not sell licences, and I am not a reseller for anybody.
- I do not run anything I have not done myself.
- I am one person. If you need twelve trainers in four cities, I am the wrong supplier and I will say so on the first call.
How the measure works
We agree what “it worked” means before the work starts, and it goes in writing. On the free side there is one honest measure and I publish it. On the paid side there is a named group and a before and after, so behaviour change is actually observable. Anything else is attendance dressed up.
Standards
Lessons map to the Skills England AI foundation skills for work benchmark and the DfE Essential digital skills standards. The mapping table, including what is not mapped yet.

Worth reading first: the free lessons. They are the proof that I can teach, which is more use to you than a capability statement.
