What you get for giving
Nothing. No badge, no tier, no early access, no members' area, no name in lights unless you ask for it. Everything on this site is already yours. That rule is what stops this becoming a paywall wearing a different hat.
Four ways

Payment is not switched on yet. The platform has not been chosen. Card and platform fees change, and at £3 a month the per-transaction fee matters more than the percentage, so the arithmetic gets done at £3 rather than at £30.
Where the ask appears, and where it never does
It appears in three places: this page, one line in the footer, and one plain paragraph at the end of a completed path — a path, not a lesson.
It never appears inside a lesson, in the middle of anything, as a pop-up, a banner, a sticky bar or an overlay, on a practice card, in an email meant to teach, or before you have had anything from us.
Where the money went
This page gets updated every three months with what came in, what it paid for, and what it did not cover. In plain sentences with real numbers, not a thank-you note.

Sponsorship rules
- Disclosed on the lesson itself, in the label: “Writing of this lesson was funded by [name].”
- No editorial control. The sponsor sees it when everybody else does.
- No product placement. A sponsor's product appears only if it would have appeared anyway.
- We can decline and we can refund. If a sponsor asks for a change we will not make, the money goes back and the lesson goes up.
- No sponsorship anywhere in Digital Skills Level 0. The lessons for the people with the least are never sponsored by anybody.
- No sponsorship of a lesson about the sponsor's own market. That rule includes Craig Stanley Studio, and saying so is the point.
One dull but honest note
Giving money to a sole trader or a limited company is not a charitable donation. It is taxable income and there is no Gift Aid on it. It is worth knowing before you give rather than after.
